Browsing for Tables through Search


To find tables using the simple search:

  1. Click the Search tab.

  2. Enter a search term in the Search field.

  3. Click Search. The list of relevant essays and tables is displayed.

  4. Click the title of the table you're interested in. The content of the table is displayed in the right pane.

To find tables using the advanced search:

  1. Click the Advanced Search link at the top right corner of the left pane. The Advanced Search section is displayed.

  2. Enter the search terms in any of the following fields:

    1. All Content (to search all essays and tables)

    2. Contributor (to search within tables contributed by specific authors)

    3. Tables (to search within tables only)

    4. Series ID (to search by series ID)

    5. DOI (to search by Digital Object Identifier)

    6. Table Notes & Documentation (to search by footnotes, sources and documentation within tables only)

  3. Enter the Years you want to search in the From and To fields, if desired, and choose a Part and a chapter from the relevant drop-down menus, if you would like to limit your search to a specific chapter or Part.

  4. Click Search. The corresponding tables and essays are listed.

  5. Click the title of a table. The content of the table is displayed in the right pane.
